The meeting registration system is up and running. Please log into the FDP web site to register for the meeting, http://nrc59.nas.edu/login.cfm. If you do not currently have a User ID, you may create one on the website. If you are planning to attend the January 12-13, 2009 FDP meeting, please make your hotel reservation as soon as possible, hotel information listed below.

Registration Fees:
|
Employees of federal agencies, faculty and staff from FDP member institutions, including Emerging Research Institutions, DO NOT have to pay a registration fee for meetings held at the National Academies’ in Washington, DC. This applies to anyone from a member institution who wishes to attend, not just your designated representatives.
Affiliate Fee – Registration fee for affiliate members is $75.
Non-Member/Vendor Fee – Registration fee for non-members/vendors is $100.
On-site registration – On-site registration fee for non-members/vendors is $125.
Checks should be made payable to FDP-MIT and MUST be received 30 days after registering, and/or no later than December 19, 2008. Please mail your check to Claudette Baylor-Fleming at the address below. The Taxpayer ID number for MIT is 04-2103594 (if you require the signed W9 Form please send an email to fdp@nas.edu). Please note, while checks and cash will be accepted during on-site registration, it is highly recommended that you mail your check as indicated above.

Accommodations:

All participants are responsible for making their own hotel and travel accommodations. Blocks of rooms have been reserved at the hotels listed below. All meeting participants need to contact the hotels listed below directly. When calling please identify yourself as part of the NAS/FDP meeting group to receive the negotiated rate. The State Plaza hotel requires you to provide code # 9630 when calling to make a reservation. The deadline for hotel reservations at the State Plaza is December 8, 2008. Rooms will be released after this date so please make your reservations early! Last minute reservations may be found at http://www.hoteldiscount.com.
